Like in case of the first edition of the Conference (MES-2018), the present MES-2025 Conference will be hosted by the American University of Armenia (AUA).
Founded in 1991, AUA is an independent, private, non-profit institution of higher education in Armenia. It is affiliated with the University of California and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, one of the six accreditation agencies for higher education recognized by the US Department of Education. A brief history of the establishment of the AUA can be found here.
The University is located in the heart of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, which is a dynamic city with a rich cultural and social life and many excellent restaurants and cafés. The campus is within walking distance of a metro station, as well as the Presidential Palace, the Parliament, the Opera House, and the renowned Cafesjian Center for the Arts. It is also easily accessed from a number of modern hotels.
The Paramaz Avedisian Building of the AUA, where the technical sessions of the Conference will be held, is equipped with all modern amenities and audiovisual and electronic facilities in various auditoria and classrooms. The building has a beautiful view of the Mount Ararat, the biblical resting site of Noah’s Ark.
